Extreme weather conditions are becoming more and more common in the Netherlands. Prepare well:

  • Shape it into a kind of bowl / tub so that rainwater cannot flow inside

I have a reserved a camping pitch, but I want to cancel this reservation. Is this possible?

When you have booked a cancellation fund via our campsite, the reservation can be cancelled with a official statement. This can be for example a letter from your doctor. If you have not booked a cancellation fund with your reservation, the terms and conditions of RECRON will apply. The applicable percentages will then be charges by cancellation of your reservation. This means, the shorter you cancel your reservation before your arrival date, the higher the percentage of costs will be.

Why is it recommended to book a cancellation fund by your reservation?

It is recommended to book a cancellation fund via our campsite or via another company. The cancellation fund that can be booked via our campsite costs 5% of the total price of the reservation.
If you book the cancellation fund via our campsite, it indemnifies guests against the costs arising from the following situations in combination with an official statement:

  • Death, sudden illness or accident of the main person or one of the participants;
  • In the event of early termination of your holiday due to the death of a family member in the first degree of the main person or one of the participants;
  • Forced relocation of the main person due to medical cause, renovation or change of employment;
  • Involuntary unemployment of the main person.

Are you forced to terminate your holiday? The moment of cancellation is the moment when your camping pitch is empty.

How does the gate work?

The gate uses a license plate registration system. The gate is set up in such a way that it allows you to drive back in within half an hour after leaving. One car can be parked on the campsite at a time per camping pitch. There are detection loops on the road that register all incoming and outgoing cars. Is the gate not working? Then drive back 10 meters, turn off your car lights and then drive slowly towards the white line again. Never drive two cars through the barrier at once; the barrier closes after each car. The gate is closed between 10:30 PM and 7:30 AM. In this timeframe, you cannot drive in or out, as any motorized traffic is not allowed on the campsite at these times.

What is the easiest way to drive to my camping spot?

We use a license plate recognition system at our gate. This allows you to drive straight to your accommodation, starting from the arrival time. Here, you can find the directions from the gate to your camping pitch: https://www.kleinewolf.nl/en/plan-your-route
