- Can I choose a preferential location for my camping pitch or accommodation?
Yes, you can. You can make your own preferred booking via the map when booking online. The cost for a preferred location is €12.50.
- Can I invite a sleepover-guest during my stay at the campsite?
Guests are welcome, provided that the total number of persons including the guests does not exceed the maximum of 6 persons per pitch. Per accommodation, the total number of persons including lodgers may not exceed the maximum allowed. The rate for lodgers is €12.50 per person per night, this includes access to the facilities. The main booker is required to register overnight guests at the reception desk.
- Can I place an option on a camping pitch or accommodation?
Yes, placing an option for bookings in 2025 is possible. You can take an option on a camping pitch or accommodation both by phone and online for up to 7 days. If you take an option online, please indicate in 'comments' that it is an option. You will receive an option confirmation with the expiration date within a few working days. You must contact us yourself before the expiration date to let us know whether your option can be made definitive or can expire.
- Do you accept discount cards?
We do not accept discount cards.
- Do you have seasonal spots available?
No, we do not have annual or seasonal sites available for 2025. Any updates can be found here: www.kleinewolf.nl/nl/kamperen/jaar-en-seizoenplaatsen
- How can I book for 2025?
Fantastic news: you can book your vacation for 2025. Reservations can be made at www.kleinewolf.nl/en/search-and-book or by contacting our front desk. Curious about the packages for 2025? Click on the link.
- How can I see which campsite pitches and accommodations are still available?
You can check availability at www.kleinewolf.nl/en/search-and-book. To do so, click on the 'book your vacation' button. Here you can filter by type of stay, date of stay and number of persons. Are you unable to check availability online? Feel free to contact our reception.
- How do I pay for my vacation?
After you book your vacation with De Kleine Wolf, you will receive a reservation confirmation. This contains the total price of the reservation and the exact payment terms.
Payment terms 2025
The first payment term (50%) is within 7 days of booking and the second term (remaining 50%) is 28 days before arrival. Reservations made within 4 weeks before arrival are subject to full payment in one installment on the day of reservation. For reservations made for the next calendar year, adjusted payment terms apply.
Forgot to pay?
Then contact the reception as soon as possible. After exceeding these payment deadlines, you will receive a reminder and possibly a reminder.
- I have made a booking but have not yet received a booking confirmation. What should I do?
After booking online, you will receive a provisional confirmation. Within 5 working days you will receive the final reservation confirmation with the payment terms. Have you booked but not yet received a reservation confirmation? Then please feel free to contact us. You can do that by phone (0529-457203) or by mail to info@kleinewolf.nl.
2. Camping
- Are fire pits allowed?
No, fire pits are not allowed on the campsite.
- Are party tents allowed?
A maximum of 1 party tent with a maximum size of 4x4 meters per camping pitch is allowed, provided it does not cause nuisance to other campers and is placed on its own pitch.
- Are pets allowed?
Yes, a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch are allowed on a select portion of our park. Dogs must be leashed at all times. In all accommodations and our facilities, dogs (and other pets) are not allowed.
- Can I barbecue on the campsite?
Yes, provided you keep fire extinguishers such as sand or water handy. During extreme weather conditions (storm or drought) barbecuing is not allowed.
- Can I place an small extra tent next to my pitch?
Yes, you can. A maximum of two extra tents per pitch are allowed.
- How big is my pitch?
All comfort pitches average 100m² and luxe comfort pitches average 120m² per pitch.
- How can I set up my television?
Our television provider is Ziggo. To set up the television, without smartcard, use frequency: 474.000 and Network ID: 4444. With smartcard use frequency: 474.000 and Network ID: 5555.
- How do I prepare for extreme weather conditions?
First, place thin plastic on the ground under your awning (you can throw these away when you leave).
- Lay thick plastic or tarps (available at hardware stores) on top of that and your mats or other material. Make sure the edges of the tarp or plastic in the (front) tent are up.
- Make it a sort of bowl/tub so that rainwater cannot flow inside.
- If necessary, roll up some empty bottles in the edges of the plastic to make a high rim. Unfortunately, we cannot always prevent nuisances during extreme downpours. This is often force majeure, just as in the Netherlands streets, houses and basements flood during extreme downpours.
- How many amps of electricity do the pitches have?
All comfort pitches have 8 ampere electricity. You can increase this to 10 ampere current at the reception for €3,- per night. All deluxe pitches have 16 ampere electricity.
- Is a flag or flagpole allowed?
You are not allowed to hang a flag (flagpole) outside your camping unit.
- Is there a freezer for cooling elements?
No, there is not.
- Is there a maximum size and/or weight allowed on a pitch?
Yes, campers longer than 9 meters and/or heavier than 8 tons are not allowed. At certain locations we can, only after telephone consultation, make an exception to this.
- May I enter your grounds with a camper van?
Yes, you may, provided your camper is not longer than 9 meters and/or not heavier than 8 tons. At certain locations, we may make an exception to this rule only after telephone consultation.
- What kind of material can I put under my awning?
A perforated rubber mat is allowed under the awning. Grass choking materials such as plastic, root cloth or woven mats are not allowed.
- Where can I buy gas bottles?
You can buy gas bottles at the reception within the opening hours of the reception. For current prices, please ask our receptionists.
- Where can I find the chemical toilet?
There is a chemical toilet at each sanitary building.
- Which camping fields are suitable for small children?
Almost every camping field has a playground equipment, so you can keep small children well in sight. The camping fields Fazant and Specht are car-free, making them especially suitable for families with small children.
3. Accommodations
- Are pets allowed in the accommodations?
No, pets are not allowed in our accommodations.
- Can I put an extra tent or party tent next to my accommodation?
No, you may not put up an additional tent or party tent next to your accommodation.
- Can I put up a flag or flagpole near my accommodation?
It is not allowed to place a flag or flagpole at the accommodation.
- Can I still use the facilities on my departure day?
If you have booked accommodation with us, you can use our facilities all day on the day of departure. We would kindly ask you to park your car on P2 across the road after the official check-out time.
4. Facilities
- Can I rent an (electric) bicycle?
Yes, you can rent (electric) bikes, mountain bikes, BMX bikes and e-choppers at the reception.
At the reception you can rent a fiet for one or more days:
- Bicycle with gears: €13.50 per day and €72 per week.
- Children's bike: €10 per day and €60 per week.
- Child seat: €3 per day and €21 per week.
- Electric bike: €25 per day and €135 per week.
- Electric cargo bike: €35 per day and €210 per week.
- Mountain bike: €25 per day and €135 per week.
- BMX bike (including helmet): €15 per day and €90 per week.
- BMX helmet: €5 per day and €35 per week.
- BMX protection: protection must be purchased and is not available for rent, it costs a one-time €30.
You cannot reserve a bike in advance. It is not possible to reserve a bike in advance. E-choppers are.
- Do I need a fishing license for the camping pond?
No, you do not need a fishing license to fish in the pond.
- Do you also rent refrigerators?
Yes. You can pre-book this online or contact the front desk. Please note that there is limited availability!
- Does the campsite have facilities for disabled people?
Yes, there is a disabled toilet in De Wolventuin. In the sanitary buildings at the Fazant and the Specht is disabled sanitary available. In the swimming pool there is a disabled room. You can obtain a key card for this at the reception for a deposit of €5.
- I am not staying at the campsite, can I still use the facilities?
Yes, you may when we are open for daytime recreation. This is indicated on our website. For more information on day recreation please look here.
- Is the reception open daily?
During the camping season the reception is open daily, you can find the current opening hours in De Kleine Wolf app.
- Is the water quality at the sandy beach monitored?
Yes, it is monitored by the Province and the results can be viewed at www.zwemwater.nl.
- Is there Wifi at the campsite?
Yes, there is Wifi at the campsite. However, our wifi network is not suitable for downloading movies or watching HD livestreams.
- Is there a launderette?
Yes, there are two laundromats. One in the sanitary building near the Fazant, and one to the left of the food bar. For €6,- a washing machine coin is available at the reception. Soap is automatically added by the washing machine. The centrifuge and dryer operate on €0.50 tokens.
- Is there a supermarket on the campsite?
Yes, there is a supermarket on the campsite. It is located in the entrance building before the barriers. The supermarket has a wide range including freshly baked bread, daily groceries and a small selection of non-food items.
- May I sup on the water at the Playa?
Yes, this is allowed behind the float line in the water.
- What animals live in the animal pasture?
The animal pasture is home to deer, ducks, chickens, walibis, alpacas and more. The animals enjoy having visitors, but are not allowed to be fed.
- What are the lengths of the indoor and outdoor pools?
The indoor pool is 20 meters long and the outdoor pool is 25 meters long.
- What fish swim in the fish pond?
Fish swimming in the pond include white and rudd chub, tench and carp; including several 20-pounders.
- What is the temperature of the indoor and outdoor pools?
The indoor wading pool is a minimum of 32.5 degrees and the indoor deep pool is a minimum of 29.5 degrees. The outdoor pools are at least 25 degrees and with nice weather the temperature can reach up to 29 degrees.
- What should I keep in mind when using the Pumptrack track?
Please keep the following rules in mind:
- Use of the PumpTrack is permitted only with appropriate bicycles, inline skates, roller skates, scooters and skateboard.
- The PumpTrack is suitable for adults and children. Children under 8 years of age only with parental supervision.
- Wearing a helmet is mandatory. Wearing protective clothing such as knee, elbow, and wrist protection is recommended on the PumpTrack.
- When is animation offered?
We offer animation every day during the camping season with a minimum of 3 activities. You can view the (preliminary) animation program in De Kleine Wolf App.
5. Arrival and departure
- Can I book a late check-out?
You can enquire a week before your arrival if late check-out is possible. For all pitches with private sanitary facilities and for all our accommodations a late check-out booking is not possible. The cost for a late check-out is €27.50.
- How do I know the route to my pitch or accommodation?
In the De Kleine Wolf app you can find your personal directions to your pitch or accommodation. Look here for directions to your pitch or accommodation: www.kleinewolf.nl/routeplanner.
- How do the gates work?
The gates works through license plate registration. The gates are open between 7:30 and 22:30.
- I have rented an accommodation, from what time can I check-in and check-out?
For the accommodation Outdoor Living Lodges, Oehoelodges, Zwaluwlodges, Kasteel de Wolvenburcht and de Bungalows are the times as follow:
- Arrival after 3:00 p.m.
- Departure before 10:00 a.m.
For the accommodation Hooibergen, Klaverlodges, Woody’s, Basic Lodges, De Boerderij and Chalets are the times as follow:
- Arrival after 4:00 p.m.
- Departure before 11:00 a.m.
For the accommodation Trekkershutten and Cotta are the times:
- Arrival after 2:00 p.m.
- Departure before 12:00 p.m.
- I will be camping, from what time can I check in?
For all pitches, check-in is possible from 13:30. It is not possible to use the facilities before 13:30. If you arrive after reception opening hours, please inform us by phone or email on the day of arrival.
- I will be camping, until what time can I check out?
For all pitches, check-out is before 11:00. It is not possible to use the facilities after 11:00. If you have booked a late check-out, you may stay at the campsite until 20:00.
- What is a contactless check-in?
A contactless check-in means that if you have given your license plate number in advance, you can drive straight on to your pitch or accommodation from your arrival time. You do not have to report to reception. As soon as you pass through the barriers, you are checked in. If you have any questions, you are always welcome at reception.
6. General information
- Are drones allowed?
No, drones are not allowed to fly over our campsite. However, the park itself is allowed to use drones, for promotional purposes.
- Are electric scooters, segways, oxboards and/or hoverboards allowed in the campground?
No, for safety reasons, electric scooters, segways, oxboards and hoverboards are not allowed on the campground.
- Are we allowed to receive visitors on the campsite?
Visitors are allowed and must report to the reception desk. The visitor fee is €2.50 (excluding access to facilities) per person. For more information on day recreation, please look here. Visitors have access to the grounds from 9:00 am to 10:30 pm. In the event of heavy traffic, the number of visitors may be limited.
- Can I have mail and packages delivered to the campsite during my stay?
Yes, you can have camping guests' mail and packages delivered. These are deposited in the box at the reception desk. Delivery of mail and packages is at your own responsibility. Please make sure your mail or package is marked with your last name and campsite location. We are not responsible for taking or keeping your packages.
- Do you also have cycling and walking routes?
Yes, several biking and hiking routes are available at the reception desk.
- Do you have merchandise?
Yes, at the reception we sell various keepsakes for home, such as stuffed animals, keychains and more.
- I have a tick, what should I do?
After a walk in nature, it is important to carefully check your children, your pets and yourself for ticks. Especially if you venture off the beaten path, the chances of getting a tick bite are relatively high. On the website www. tekenradar.nl you can find extensive information about what to do in case of a tick bite.
- I lost something, where are the lost and found items?
The general point for lost and found items is the reception desk. The pool and De Wolventuin also have lost and found items. We keep found items for up to two weeks.

- I would like to send a card, where is the mailbox?
There is no mailbox on the campsite. You can drop off your mail at the reception. The receptionists will give the mail to the letter carrier.
- Is De Kleine Wolf liable for any damage or injury resulting from my stay on the property?
No, De Kleine Wolf is not liable for damage or injury as a result of your stay on the site, damage experienced through the use of the facilities on this site or damage or injury caused by man, animal or natural disasters.
- Is there an AED device available at the campground?
Yes, it is attached to the wall at the entrance to restaurant De Wolventuin.
- Is there public transportation nearby?
No, the nearest train station is Station Ommen and is about 7 kilometers from the campsite. No public transport passes by the campsite.
- What should I do in case of an emergency?
In case of emergency call 112 and report serious emergencies directly to the reception. If the reception is closed call 0529-457203 and press 2. Always inform our staff where the accident or fire is taking place, if emergency services are on their way and if there are any injuries. Our staff can direct the emergency services. The barriers open automatically for emergency services.
- When will the campground be open?
In 2025, De Kleine Wolf will be open from April 4 to October 27.
7. Terrain information
- Are cars allowed near my pitch and/or accommodation?
One car is allowed on the pitch, with the exception of the Fazant and Specht camping fields. These fields are car-free. Fazant and Specht have their own parking spaces at the edge of the field. Every accommodation has its own parking space next to the accommodation, except for the Outdoor Living Lodges. Private parking spaces have been created nearby for these accommodations.
Additional cars or cars that do not fit on the pitch should be parked in parking lot P2 across the road.
- Can I charge my electric car?
Yes, we have 4 charging stations for electric cars on both P1 and P2. If you want to use our charging stations, you will need your charging card. We kindly ask you to move your vehicle when the battery is fully charged so that other guests can also charge their cars. Electric vehicles may only be charged at designated charging stations.
- I have two cars, may I enter the park with both cars?
You may enter the park with your second car on arrival and departure for loading and unloading only. After that, additional cars or cars that do not fit on the pitch should be parked in parking lot P2 across the road.
- What is the maximum speed in the campground?
A maximum speed of 5km/h is allowed on the campsite. Cyclists and pedestrians have the right of way.
8. Cancellation and rebooking
- Can I take out a cancellation fund with you?
Yes, you can. It is only possible to take out a cancellation fund for camping pitches. This is not possible for accommodations. The cost for closing the cancellation fund is 5% of the total amount and can be closed up to 48 hours after booking. Participation in the cancellation fund indemnifies guests against costs incurred in the events listed below, provided this is accompanied by an official declaration:
- Death, sudden occurred illness or accident of the main person or one of the participants;
- In case of early cancellation of your vacation, due to death of family member in the first degree, of the main person or one of the participants;
- Emergency relocation of the main person due to medical cause, renovation or change of job;
- Involuntary unemployment of the principal person.
If you are forced to cancel your vacation during your stay, the moment when the pitch becomes empty is the moment of cancellation.
- I cannot come, is canceling my booking my only option?
No, there is also a possibility to use the rebooking guarantee or to transfer the booking to another family. Please contact the reception to discuss the conditions and possibilities.
- I have booked a pitch and want to cancel, is that possible?
Yes, you can. If you have taken out a cancellation fund with us, the vacation can be cancelled by means of an official statement (for example, a letter from your doctor). If no cancellation fund has been taken out, the RECRON conditions will be applied. Please contact us in writing if you wish to cancel.
- I have booked an accommodation and want to cancel, is that possible?
Yes, you can. Cancellation is based on the RECRON-conditions. Please contact us in writing if you want to cancel.
- What does the changeover guarantee mean?
All reservations for 2025 include a rebooking guarantee:
- You can apply the Rebooking Guarantee once.
- Up to 14 days before arrival you can use the Rebooking Guarantee.
- Rebooking is only possible to a period in the current calendar year.
- Moving the booking to another period may be more expensive. You have to pay the difference. There is no change fee.
- If the booking is cheaper after rebooking, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund on the total amount of your reservation.
- Only the main booker can rebook the vacation.
- It is not possible to split your booking into several bookings.
- If you want to use the rebooking guarantee, please contact the reception.
9. De Kleine Wolf App
- How can I use facial recognition?
Access to our facilities, such as the pool and indoor play area, work with facial recognition. This access control works the same as unlocking your phone with your face. This way you get quick and easy access to the pool and indoor play paradise.
Make sure you have uploaded photos of you and your fellow travelers in The Little Wolf app before arrival. This can be done 7 days before arrival. This will allow you to use our facilities immediately upon arrival.
How can I upload the photos?
- Open The Little Wolf app and make sure you are logged in
- Go to 'Menu' at the bottom right
- Click on 'My environment'
- Go to your reservation
- Add your fellow travelers
- Go to face recognition and upload a photo of you and your fellow travelers

- I am unable to log in to De Kleine Wolf App what can I do?
Make sure you are going to log in with the same email address you used to make the reservation. Make sure your password is correct. If neither is working, please contact us.

10. Digital locks
- Can I install the digital key on multiple devices?
Yes, this is possible. You must then log in with the same login information.
- Can I use a physical key for my accommodation?
Yes, there is the possibility of using one physical key card. You can inquire about this at the reception desk.
- From when is the digital key visible in the app?
From the moment you have made a booking and logged into De Kleine Wolf App, the key is visible in the app. You can use the key between arrival and departure times:
For the Outdoor Living Lodges, OeHoelodges, Zwaluwlodges, Kasteel de Wolvenburcht applies:
- Arrival after 15:00 hours
- Departure before 10:00 am
For the Hooibergen, Klaverlodges, Basic Lodges, Chalets and de Boerderij applies:
- Arrival after 16:00 hours
- Departure before 11:00 am
For the Trekkshutten and Cottas applies:
- Arrival after 2:00 p.m.
- Departure before 12:00 pm
For pitches with private sanitary facilities applies:
- Arrival after 1:30 p.m.
- Departure before 11:00 am
- How do I open and close the lock with the digital key?
The key is visible by logging in via De Kleine Wolf App. Make sure your location features and Bluetooth are on in De Kleine Wolf App. Arrived at your accommodation? Open De Kleine Wolf App, click the “Digital Key” button and hold your phone against the lock. Once the green light blinks, you can turn the lock. Are you leaving your accommodation? Then don't forget to do the same to turn the lock.
Short steps

- On the 'Welcome' page you will see the 'Digital Key' button
- Then you will get a pop-up message, where you have the option to open or close the rotary lock
- Hold the phone against the digital lock and click the button in the app
- When the green light blinks, you have the option to open or close the rotary lock. Note that you also need your phone to lock your accommodation.
- The digital lock is not working, what could be wrong?
- You are not logged into De Kleine Wolf App
- You do not have the latest version of De Kleine Wolf App Please check here if you have downloaded the latest version of De Kleine Wolf App Don't have the latest version? Then make sure you update the app to the latest version and log in again.
- Your Bluetooth feature and your location feature are off, please turn them on.
- You are unfortunately too early, the digital lock only works from arrival time.
